Directions to Bay Area Bridge School

Directions:

From San Jose: Take 280 North to San Francisco keeping to the right as if heading for the Bay Bridge. Take the San Jose Avenue Exit (Honest) and take the first right turn (Rousseau) 1 short block to Bosworth; Turn right, proceed through one stop sign, under the freeway, through a stoplight and then to the second stop sign (Elk Street). Turn right and go down the steep hill and then up the steeper hill. At the top Elk Street becomes Diamond Heights Blvd. as it veers to the right. Follow Diamond Heights around through the FOURTH stop sign and one-half block further. Park and I am directly across the street.

From Oakland: Cross the Bay Bridge and stay on the Bayshore freeway to the 280 South (Daly City) exit. Get off at the Monterey Blvd. Exit, making a 270 degree right turn at the light. Go one block to the flashing yellow light (Diamond) and turn left; one block to the stop light (Bosworth) and turn left; two stop signs (about four blocks) turn right at Elk St., turn right, go down the steep hill and up the steep hill where the road swings to the right and becomes Diamond Heights Blvd. Proceed to the fourth stop sign and one half block further; Park and I am directly across the street.

From San Francisco: DOWNTOWN: Come to the top of Market Street (it becomes Portola at the top) and be in the left lane; When the road makes a sharp turn to the right, there is a stop light and a left turn lane; Take the left and then veer to the right of the stop sign on a small island in the middle of the street. Do not stop. After you have passed the sign, park. I am the second driveway on the right.

From San Francisco: SUNSET AND SOUTH: Come up Portola past the Tower Market and then past McAteer High School...Be in the right-hand (EXIT ONLY) lane and exit onto Diamond Heights Blvd. Go to the right of the next stop sign and do not stop. Find a parking place, I am the second driveway on the right.

From Marin County: Cross the Golden Gate and be in the right hand lane and take the 19th Avenue Exit. When you are through the Golden Gate Park go one block further and then make three right turns, putting you onto Linclon Way headed East. You will go from 19th Ave. to 7th Ave. where you will turn right. Go all the way up 7th Ave. past the reservoir and the wall, past the hospital on your left and then, as the road swings to the right be in the left lane and turn left at the light, left one block further at the church onto Woodside then to the top of the hill (BP Station on your left) Turn left and get into the right lane...as you go down the hill and up the hill there is an exit only lane on the right. Exit and veer to the right of the second stop sign and do not stop. Find a place to park, I am the second driveway on the right.
